Is Black Boston Trying To Silence 1090 WILD-AM?

Ever since WILD-FM 97.7 was sold for $30 million which carried the
Radio-One affiliate of the “Tom Joyner Morning Show”, now back on it’s original AM
station of 1090 WILD-AM… And now the LP-WTCH “Touch” 106.1 FM now has a home
 in the African-American communities such as “Roxbury, Dorchester & Mattapan”,
Some of Touch FM listeners and some others are now dissin’ the AM radio dial of WILD-AM?

Many African-Americans within the Black communities here in the City of Boston are proud
 to welcome Touch 106.1 FM in their homes and offices whether on radio or on the internet;
but there is other African-Americans that been listening to WILD-AM and refuses to leave the
AM radio station that is from “Sunrise to Sunset.” These days, to some African-Americans in
“Roxbury, Dorchester and Mattapan,” Classic & R&B music today on 1090AM is not important;
but “Truthfighter” Warren Ballentine & The Reverend Al Sharpton is important.

Mixed feelings, thoughts & opinions from the Boston African-American communities who some listen to
‘Touch fm’ are now saying that, 106.1 fm is now #1 in Black Boston!...While other supporters of ‘1090AM’
with the affiliation of Radio-One is still #1, because of “Tom Joyner, Warren Ballentine & Al Sharpton.”

Even some Blacks admit from their own mouths that Charles Clemons, Jr. (Owner of Touch FM)
is the kind of voice we need in the Black community that has a soft “Black Prospective” positive voice heard on a “Kum Ba Ya” radio station; and he doesn’t go hard on his people of Blacks & African-American callers, like how Warren Ballentine and Al Sharpton goes hard Black folks on their daily talk shows.

So, what some Blacks in Boston are saying, that Warren & Sharpton shouldn’t go hard on African-American callers who agree to disagree, and remain hard on Whites who'd physically, mentally & systematically done to African-Americans throughout the years. Meaning that Warren and Sharpton should follow in the footsteps of Touch 106.1 FM and do it their way, or leave off the Boston airwaves because according to some African-Americans, That’s not the kind of voices with need for our people! Meaning WILD-AM/Radio-One affiliate is in the way of “Touch 106.1 FM” and “WILD-AM & Radio-One” need to be put out of business here in Boston.

The same thoughts & opinions of African-Americans in Boston claim that “Tom Joyner, Sybil Wilkes & J. Anthony Brown along with Sheryl Underwood & D.L. Hughley" from the “Tom Joyner Morning Show” are degrading Black people especially Black women by mixing comedy, Black history and news concerning the Black communities across the country?! Some African-Americans in Boston think that Cathy Hughes
is a "Sellout" for destroying WILD-AM when she bought the rights to that radio station affiliate under
“Radio-One.”

Even though some Blacks in our local communities admit that Cathy Hughes is responsible for the
destruction of 1090 WILD-AM. Cathy Hughes (Owner of Radio-One) is giving back by giving us powerful Black voices who doesn’t side for neither “BLACK OR WHITE” when it comes to fair and balances in America. No matter what people think of her.

Warren Ballentine & Al Sharpton even says to “KEEP IT REAL”, whether they go hard on both
“BLACK & WHITE.” Meaning no race, religion nor nationality gets a free ride, thinking that Warren
Ballentine & Al Sharpton ain’t gonna go hard on somebody that looks like you and I, because they will.
“THEY ARE KEEPIN’ IT REAL!” So, If both sides of the fence are wrong whether “Black or White” then
both have to be hailed responsible & accountable for their actions, and they need to be called out up front.

That’s what different between “1090 WILD-AM & Touch 106.1 FM.” Charles Clemons
has his own style of reaching out to the Black Community, and “Tom, Warren & Sharpton”
got their own style of reaching out to the Black community in Boston & across the country.

So why do some Blacks get upset because those loyal listeners of “Tom Joyner, Warren Ballentine & Al Sharpton” who refuses to leave the Radio-One affiliate of WILD-AM instead of listening Touch 106.1 FM ?

How come Bay State Banner publisher mentions Cathy Hughes in their weekly local
newspaper and not mention who’s on '1090AM' during the day when it comes to
“Tom, Warren & Sharpton?” Is this Black Unity or Black Divide & Conquer in Boston?
Well, If 50% of African-Americans are trying to silence the outsiders of the voices of
“Tom, Warren & Sharpton” out of the communities, put ‘1090 WILD-AM’ out of business
to satisfy the loyal listener & supporters of 'Touch FM,' then that looks like Divide & Conquer
 to other '1090AM' loyal listeners & supporters. 50% of African-Americans think that Black Boston
is not big enough for two Black radio stations of ‘1090AM & 106.1FM.’

The Real Genius of Black radio, Tom Joyner, The #1 Truthfighter, Warren Ballentine & The Reverend,
Al Sharpton always encourages African-Americans across the country and especially here in Boston to tell your friends, family members and even those who are "Black, White, Hispanic & others" … that their
radio shows are on the airways throughout Radio-One market affiliates for a reason… And that is to touch those listening audience & the callers themselves who wanna callout anybody whether “Black or White, Republican or Democrat, Conservative or Liberal” who think they’re doing wrong to the people and telling them, “You are responsible & Accountable for your actions!”

That’s one of several reasons why Boston African-Americans Communities is divided between radio stations of “Touch 106.1 FM & 1090 WILD-AM.” One side of the Black Community wanna hear “ALL POSTIVE”
with “KUM BA YA” voices; and the other side of the Black Community wants to hear “ALL POSITIVE & NEGATIVE”, and going hard on both sides of the fence when it comes down to “BLACK and WHITE.”

No African-Americans within the communities should not have to tell you nor make
you listen to a radio station that best fits & suits you for real news, truth and information…
Whether it’s “Touch FM or WILD-AM.”

If those in the Black Community don’t like those of "Radio-One/WILD-AM" and the loyal
listeners that are still committed to “Tom, Warren & Sharpton”, Fine! Because It’s no wonder why
African-American Communities and across the country in the inner-cities are bringing other people
down because some African-Americans & people of color from the other side are not getting their
way with their own. Well, I’m sorry, but that’s radio life is in the USA …And that’s just too bad!

The 50% African-American population listeners from Boston need to get a life and let
other African-Americans live their own and listen to whomever they feel that will uplift them
with knowledge, truth and education of themselves. Thank You for Listening & Continuing to
