IP617 RADIO VOLUNTEERS

Volunteers up to 15-20 participants on IP617 Radio come with their own style, views, thoughts and opinions as Internet DJ Personalities and co-host on these internet radio airwaves. Each DJ Personalities have their own shows / segments that they create and discuss with their listening audience.

The IP617 Evening Show was created and founded by DeMarco White. And IP617 Radio
format settings were created Brian Chung-Lee inspired by "The Russ Parr Morning Show & The Joyner Morning Show ." Rafael-Alexandro Castro was inspired by "The Ramiro & Pebbles Show"
at Jamn' 945. IP617 internet radio show was created by a diverse group with heart, talent and no bucks. ALL DONE FROM THE HEART! All views, thoughts and opinions on IP617 Radio are different. Not all of the IP617 extended family is on the same page which is call balances of opinions.

This Internet radio show, project and website was created by the volunteers to make this radio show into a big success. There are some views, thoughts and opinions we can agree to disagree; and we also have radio shows featuring music genres of today and back in the day. We deal with real life issues, stories, news and comedy, pending on issues that doesn't seam right as looking at a point of view with a third eye and a third ear. No guaranteed our shows are on every week, pending on our personal busy schedules.

OUR COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

After years of experience knowing and living in the City of Boston on how communities works locally, IP617 Radio has made their desicion not to get involved inside the community unless invited. Reason for not getting involved due to some of the bias and negativity, ignorance and attitudes over the involvement in the local Urban Black & Latino Boston communities. Meaning we will not attend nor participate in local communities where we are not wanted, based on indiviuals who organizes community meetings or events who does not want all indivuals there. Plus, banning and lack of communication is another reason.
ALL ARE WELCOME does not necessarilly mean "ALL ARE WELCOME!" Meaning that is not the cased in all urban communities. I-Power 617 connects with the local and nationwide listenening audience via internet radio. If you want us involve, contact IP617 via phone, email or Facebook.

IP617 SEGMENT SHOWS

The IP617 Evening Show for the past 4 years has been hosting many segment shows on our programs that targets the African-American and Latino communities locally and across the country with different segment shows whether in Enlgish or Spanish. The indiviual segment shows that are discussed by the host themselves can be sometimes get personal pending on the news story and events that occur daily in our communites here and across the country. Whether it's news, sports or entertainment, we research the news stories and discuss those headlines and articles on the internet radio airwaves.

BROADCASTING IP617 RADIO PROGRAMMING

All Internet IP617 Radio shows and guest interviews are pre-productive and pre-recorded for professional pruposes only (based on the the music artist or other guest's request not to conduct an interview live based on their ability skills). And also due to the pressing against time that could interfere with other regulary scheduled programming. IP617 shows and interviews are aired one week before broadcasting show live via Windows Media. Some of our phone calls are live pending on other regularly music & segment and our 5 minute commercial programming.

RADIO-ONE, JAMN 94.5 & OTHER LOCAL RADIO (BIAS)

I-Power 617 supports some local urban radio stations; mostly supportive of outside nationally syndicated radio shows such as Radio-One. Inc., Jamn 94.5 (WJMN-FM / Clear Channel), Hot97 Boston (WBOT-FM 88.7) and limited local radio stations. I-Power 617 is the ONLY internet radio station that commercializes radio promo ads (voluntarily) for Radio-One / Syndication-One and some local programming to show support on the behalf of IP617 Radio.

RULES, VIEWS, THOUGHTS & OPINIONS

All participants of IP617 Radio and callers with their views, thoughts and opinions has every right to express how they feel about certain issues in our urban inner-cities, our communities and neighborhoods in Boston and across the country. IP617 Radio does not and will not tolerate any kind of disrespecting of the host or DJ Personalities; whether they are threats towards physically harming internet DJ personailites; verbal or death threats based on the views, thoughts and opinions by the IP617 paricipants, whether you the caller agrees or disagree pending on today's topic that are discussed. Callers and internet DJ Personalities of I-Power 617 can agree to disagree without being violently disagreeable regardless of race, religion, seaxual orientation, organizations or political party affiliations.
